The Monthly Memo

May 1, 2002

Dear Colleagues,

Please visit our web page. The site address is heab.state.wi.us.

Points of Interest:

  1. The last 2001-02 notification list is scheduled to be sent June 11, 2002. The last day to submit voucher requests for 2001-02 is June 14, 2002.

  2. Due to computer update limitations, all school TIP grant nominations should be sent directly to John Whitt at HEAB until further notice.

  3. Since both 2001-02 and 2002-03 academic year requests are currently being processed, it is very important to clearly label submissions to HEAB by academic year.

  4. Beginning with the 2002-03 academic year, file maintenance will be accepted for the following items only:
      Professional Judgement changes
      Special Tuition
      Selective Service changes
      Special Circumstances
      Deletes
If you have a situation that you believe is a special circumstance, please contact the program coordinator. ALL other changes must by made by submitting information to the federal processor. Please note that we are now accepting file maintenance for 2002-03.

  5. All revisions, updates and additions for the 2002-03 academic year have been made to the electronic Policy and Procedure Manual and are now available to you. The changes include addition of the Nursing Student Loan Program, information on the selective service edit and much more. All new information in the Manual is in RED so you can easily spot the changes. Please go to HEAB's site located at heab.state.wi.us to view the electronic manual.
